FAQs
You got questions? We got answers.

1. WHY B2B VIDEO?

We feel that a B2B buying experience is unlike any other. And we’ve become experts in that process, as well as how video can play an effective role in that process.

3. DO I REALLY NEED A VIDEO STRATEGY?

You don’t need a map before heading off to Denver. But even a general direction to head toward is a good start. We try to accomplish our clients’ goals, not just make videos. Plus, we believe that constraints applied by a strategy can actually help make more interesting and creative decisions.

5. HOW ARE YOU NOT MORE FAMOUS?

Great question…

7. WHO IS ACTUALLY WORKING ON MY PROJECT?

We’re a lean, nimble team of strategists, producers, writers, and editors. Sometimes we do it all ourselves, but over the years, we’ve developed an extensive network of skilled video specialists that we can tap into based on the needs, budget, and scope of your project.

9. HOW SOON SHOULD I SEE A RETURN ON MY INVESTMENT?

That’s hard to say. And to be blunt, it depends on how you define success. The best we can do is point to unbiased statistics that prove the value of video over time – and somewhat biased testimonials from clients who have chosen to work with us again and again.

11. TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR PROCESS…

There are 7 stages to practicing effective video for business. That is our process. For a more in-depth look at each phase, check out our strategy, production, and distribution pages.

13. I KEEP HEARING GREAT THINGS ABOUT VIDEO SELLING… BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS.

Prospecting and selling with video is quickly becoming the norm in B2B sales. We can help you get started, including choosing the right video hosting platform, finding the right equipment, training your sales team, and syncing up your marketing content with your sales content. It’s all right here in The Glengarry starter package.

15.IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE MOSTLY JUST WHITE DUDES. HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO GET DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES AND IDEAS FROM THAT?

It’s a fair question and something we’re aware of, which is why we make an effort to work with talented writers, actors, shooters, and editors of diverse backgrounds – especially when a project explores areas of culture and society.

2. DO YOU MAKE B2C VIDEO?

We certainly can. But even most of the B2C companies we’ve worked with have hired us for B2B scenarios (partner channels, stakeholder engagement, case studies, etc…)

4. DO YOU WORK WITH OUT-OF-STATE/COUNTRY CLIENTS?

Yes. Most of our clients aren’t anywhere near Durham.

6. DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT MINIMUM?

Most of our clients spend over $50,000 with us throughout the year. But our first project doesn’t necessarily have to cost that much. Start small, win big.

8. CAN YOU WORK WITH OUR IN-HOUSE TEAM, OR OTHER AGENCIES WE’VE CONTRACTED?

We’ve always subscribed to the idea of Collaboration > Competition. We love working with other creatives and look forward to the opportunity.

10. HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME?

Here’s the rub: every project is different, which makes setting a fixed price difficult. So, if you already have a budget set aside for video, let us know what that budget is. We’ll let you know what can do, what we can’t do, and whether or not this is a good fit at this particular time.

12. HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE?

Most of our projects last several months. For a simple 1-day production, we’d expect the project to last about 2 months once you bake in strategy, pre-production, editing, and revisions. For a more complicated production resulting in hundreds of deliverables, the timeline can easily run 6-9 months.

14. CAN YOU TAKE OVER EXISTING PROJECTS?

We certainly can, but don’t be surprised if we completely take it apart. It failed or stalled for a reason, right?

16. ARE YOU ABLE TO SHOOT DURING COVID?

Yes. We strive to keep a safe set during Covid19, which is why we require everyone to wear masks at all times (except talent when shooting) and encourage social distancing when possible. We keep our sets fully stocked with N95 masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Or, to put in another way…
